Then I stumbled upon payment and revenue recovery. I've been stuck here ever since. I believe a founder's goal is to make money. My task is to make sure it stays that way by building billing systems that stand the test of time and recover any income lost to involuntary churn.
My areas of focus are Stripe billing setup and webhook architecture, dunning and payment-recovery systems, and stitching payment data into the rest of a business's stack — CRM, email, dashboards. This blog is where I write up what I learn doing that work.
